Noise Catalogue & Else, if Else

Prominent contemporary ensembles Noise Catalogue and Else if Else perform a double-bill concert featuring their own compositions, as well as the fruits of long-term collaborations with composer Bahar Royaee and poet Tracy Fuad. The concert, toured throughout the Eastern US this fall, explores concepts of identity as it relates to culture and how ‘home’ is defined, especially through the experiential lens of those who have been displaced from their home country. The program includes a chamber work by Ben Portzen based on poetry by Tracy Fuad, a solo piece by Madeline Hocking, the premiere of a new rendition of “Zakhme” by Bahar Royaee, and improvisatory works co-written by Noise Catalogue and Else if Else. Tickets will be available for $25; stay tuned for a link to purchase!
